what started as a classic soul listening session with my producer friends Lido and Zach Ezzy turned into some late-night keyboard noodling - and eventually one of my favorite songs ever. once Shaan Ramaprasad and Rachel Robinson added their dreamy string and vocal arrangements, I knew we had something really special
this song is called Trying Again
it’s about what it feels like to start over - to forgive yourself, to reach for hope even when it feels far away. and to remember that the people who really love you will stay through the storm, not just the calm
